Meet our founder;Genuine Jackson Mwasha
Introducing Genuine Jackson Mwasha: An Embodiment of Change and Compassion
Our founder, Jackson Mwasha, embarked on a transformative journey with The Roof of Africa in Scotland, where he established the organization as ‘The Roof of Africa SCIO.’ Here, he laid the groundwork for the first school in Sonu, Tanzania—a thriving institution now nurturing over 200 students. Recognizing the immense potential for broader change and the urgent need for new change-makers, Mwasha expanded his mission to the United States, leading to the formation of ‘The Roof of Africa USA Inc.’ with the support of his esteemed colleague Tom Zierk.
This strategic move opens the door for U.S. supporters to engage with our vital work while enjoying tax-exempt contributions due to our non-profit status. With an extensive background in non-profit management and international development, Mwasha guides our organization with a clear focus on effective fundraising and impactful project execution.
Join us in our mission to transform lives across Sub-Saharan Africa, fostering education and hope in the most isolated and impoverished regions. Together, we can make a difference that echoes through generations.
